Department of Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine is a medical specialty dealing with the entire patient rather than a particular organ system, covering diagnosis and medical (rather than surgical) treatment in adults. The Department of Internal Medicine is the single largest department on the University of Utah campus, and has 13 subspecialty Divisions. All of the Department's subspecialty clinics are located at University Hospital.
